Hillbilly Sustainability

I'm Jake Finley and I'm by no means a master of agriculture or sustainable living. In fact, I make most of it up as I go along. I take what I learned growing up in California's great Central Valley and mix it with a little science and hippie know-how I've picked up along the way. In some ways my urban farming and tinkering is a way of preserving skills and knowledge passed to me by family. I do what I can to get the most out of life and the most out of the piece of earth I call home. I'm not afraid to sweat, bleed, laugh or learn.

So grab a shovel and lets get to it!
